About the Book

Bill Gates suggests that if we don’t have innovations in energy we don’t improve much at all. This book explores how physical and biological processes interchange different forms of energy and how electric energy is generated. It explores how fossil fuels will run out in the near future, the challenges associated with using them and the need to move to alternative sources of energy. The book calls for innovation and a move to cost effective, efficient and non polluting energy sources, which can include solar energy, wind energy, water (hydro) energy and hydrogen fuel.

About the Author

Dr Philemon Chigeza has taught science and mathematics in the middle school for many years. He is interested in capacity building teaching and learning strategies that affirm students’ lived languages, experiences and knowledge in their learning.
