About the Author

My name is Jennifer Burt. I was born in Melbourne Australia As a young girl growing up, I always had the belief that I was a failure there for, I never felt like I belonged I never did very well at school and left at the age of fifteen I married at nineteen years of age to my first husband We had three children together I began writing poetry when my eldest son was four years old It was my way of dealing with all the negativity In my life I have always loved poetry and literature And with the love and support of my family, I have been able to answer my critics with success I met my second husband when my children Were still young and we now have a son together
