About the Author

Jade Phoenix was born in Penang, Malaysia, popularly known as “The Pearl of the Orient”. Jade is very passionate about her Chinese heritage and would like to dedicate this book to her multicultural family and friends. With a Bachelor Degree in Visual Arts, she has combined her artistic and literary talent in poetry and illustration to bring together Tales from Ancient China. The stories reveal to the audience important aspects of Chinese culture, philosophy and religious belief. Jade strongly believes that “The romance of poems, myths and legends is the song and music of the universe to be shared with the world!”
