About the Author

‘The Simple Life’ is Rosie Drum’s first novel and was written because, like so many other people, her friends persisted in telling her that she should write a book. With the immense encouragement of a particular friend, she actually did so and hopes this will inspire other women to do the same. Drum has a keen sense of observation and written numerous short stories. She has the ability to see the funny side of the direst situations and is able to remain objective even when her own life is in turmoil. Drum lives in Scotland with her husband and has two daughters.
