About the Author

Mike loves public speaking. He believes that captivation is necessary for effective communication. In childhood, he had no inhibitions; he could stand anywhere to say anything. He remembers vividly when, at age 5, he stood in a public square to do a recitation. As he grew up however, he discovered that he had lost the childhood fearlessness and could no longer speak effortlessly in public. He also lost his speaking charm. He set about looking for ways to keep an audience enthralled as he speaks. This desire made him read as many books as he could find on public speaking. He also listened to living speaking legends like Blair, Clinton, Obama, Simo, Tracy, etc. He went into the archives and dug up recorded speeches of Churchill, Luther King, Malcom X, Nkrumah and other long gone masters of the podium. He has observed what makes people like Jerry Rawlings, Otabil, Duncan Williams, Theodore Bismarck, Clive Mould and others magnetize their listeners’ attention. He believes he has found the answers, but they did not come from the same source. He simply did not find the book he was looking for; so he wrote SHE. He has made other discoveries, which he has put in different books including Speaking Bullets and The Otabil Factor. Mike is a trainer in project management and project finance. He lives and works in his native Ghana, with his wife Franklyn and their five sons Barima, Baffour, Nana Yaw, Temeng and Kwatia.
