About the Book

What does life have to offer? It can be good- bringing a smile to your face as the days go by. But then there may be bad days- when all you want to do is cry. And then there may even be days when it seems neutral- when you don’t know whether you should smile or cry. LIFE is a book of poetry suited for any day. It is romantic and nostalgic; it is filled with poems of laughter and tears; poems of happiness and poems of fears. Whatever day it is today, LIFE knows.

About the Author

Growing up in a rural village in the Caribbean, Michael Millette has been the epitome to struggle and hardship. His visit to India has exposed him to first-hand poverty. As he looked into the eyes of the pitiful children who were so in need, not only of food and shelter, but also love and guidance, he was reminded of those at home. This experience changed his perception of life and has since motivated him to let others know about the issues faced by others. He has been a teacher for 9 years, and so decided to use the print media to let others know of life’s issues. His subsequent migration to the United Kingdom to study, further motivated him to write, as he saw that life’s struggles were not restricted to the Caribbean but Is evident everywhere. The change of environment coupled with the upsurge of television’s deceptions, has taught him that things were not as they seemed; they were far worse than expected. As a result, his only way of releasing these burdens, was to put it in black and white.
