About the Book

The book is about the significance of the ritual of oath of office, as it affects political office holders.

The central character of this novel of magnet and charm is Ozoko who lives in the poverty ridden village of Igumale in Benue state of Nigeria, a University graduate and a social critics who believes that politics should not be left in the hands of mediocre, he also believes that the country will become a better place, if people like him who has seen the practical aspect of poverty are saddle with the responsibility of leadership.

The climax comes when he eventually becomes the chairman of his council area, things begin to unravel as he ends up in dilemma that drags him to his waterloo.


About the Author

Attah Patrick Unogwu is a native of Igumale, Benue state and Educated at the University of Jos, where he obtained a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English Education. He is the founder and president of The Anchormen club, a club that mirrors the society through: Drama, seminar and traditional renditions.
