Born in London on the Ides of March 1936. Evacuated to Stoke-on-Trent Prior to World War Two. Returned to London 1945, Grammar School, Art School and Military Service. 1957 embarked on a thirteen-year period of successful business activities ranging from coffee bar and fashion boutiques to a chain of petrol stations including the Sole UK Concession for the ultimate dream car, Lamborghini. 1971 travelled extensively throughout the world, before being appointed director of a public company specialising in high fashion. 1984 negotiated his own redundancy and retired to Mallorca in Spain. 1993 involved in an almost fatal road accident, spending two years in a private clinic and underwent 33 major operations. Besides teaching local children English he started writing and now is unable to stop. Sitting quietly doing nothing. Spring comes and the grass grows all by itself.
