About the Book

It was only supposed to be a short trip to hide the Prince.  But Chief of Staff Darrian found herself on the run from the invasion of her home world of Alferron. She has only the Warrior Krak and her wits to defend her and the Prince who has now become the uncrowned King.  An ill-fated attempt to run found her choosing to flee through the Aldenskus wormhole instead of fighting her way out.  The wormhole was highly unstable at it's end and resulted in all 3 of them crash landing on a planet the natives called Earth.  The three of them are marooned for an unknown period and King Dolran is dying.   Darrian is aided by a 7-nation contingent of male agents led by Russian KGB superspy, Alex Koslov.  In addition, she forms her own Super Seven by using a collection of women that Darrian enhances by a combination of gene manipulation and implants.  She grafts Krak and Dolran into the body of the only available human with a body signature that matches.  Darrian thinks that she has beaten fate.  However, her problems are only beginning.  Tom Holman, the human being used for the grafting has problems of his own with an agenda of his own.  With the Mafia pursuing the group of spies and several alien assassins pursuing the natives of Alferron, Darrian tries in vain to keep Tom out of the limelight.  Tom's gain from the union has brought him power such as he had never before seen or imagined.  He dreams of becoming a professional football player, and intends to cash in on his new- found strength.  Tom's new romantic interest is a beautiful former CIA operative.  Darrians task of finding a way to get home and retake the planet is complicated by a time frame that is forever shrinking.  She must get away and separate the King and Warrior from the human before Earth is dragged into a full-scale intergalactic conflict that threatens to destroy every living soul.
