About the Book

WORLDVIEWS is Book I of a planned Trilogy by Phillip L. Engle. The book broadly surveys both the scientific worldview and the teleological (religious) worldview, culminating in a more-detailed consideration of ethics and meta-ethics. This treatment of morality follows and critiques the great work of Alasdair MacIntyre in his book After Virtue.

About the Author

Phillip L. Engle is a graduate of Northwestern University (Evanston IL) and Union Theological Seminary (New York NY). He is an Oblate of St. Benedict affiliated with St. Vincent Archabbey in Latrobe PA and is currently employed by Mellon Bank (Pittsburgh PA) as a data modeler. Mr. Engle lives with his wife and children in a small farmhouse near Latrobe PA.
