About the Book

Annie Blaine is a former 911 dispatcher with the

Garland Police Department.  She finally fulfills her life long dream by retiring from the department and becoming a private investigator.

Within days, she meets the beautiful Benita, a health club instructor.  Little does she realize that this chance meeting will bring her face to face with a psychopath, chains of murders and near fatal beatings.

Plots become even more twisted when her investigation of a credit scam points her in a surprising direction.  What connection can there be with the murder of a nightclub owner, his socialite wife, and the remaining instructors from the health club?  Her trek will take her from the seedier side of east Dallas, to the rural areas of Wylie; from the college town of Denton to the affluence of Plano.

Bev Kramer, like her heroine, has realized her lifelong dream by writing this book. Up until now she has written poetry and children’s short stories. For the past twenty years she has resided in Allen, Texas and is working on a sequel starring Annie Blaine.
