About the Book

Captain Nick Cosmos had retired from his deadly profession as a STARveyer TM, an explorer and surveyor of newly discovered worlds. Too many expeditions had failed. Too many friends had perished on dirty little planets. Jelly Farming was a much safer way to earn a living and raise a family. But the stars never ceased their siren song. This time it was a cry for help from a fleet of ships preparing to rescue the inhabitants of a doomed planet.

A world called Arach, was about to die a violent death and it would be up to Cosmos and his courageous crew to make certain an entire race of people, who bore no resemblance to human beings, would not vanish from the universe. Cosmos' ship was the only one foolish enough to land on the erupting planet with only days or seconds to live. Now, if only he could convince the headstrong citizens of Arach to leave!
