About the Book

An eclectic mix of twenty-five short stories, some very, very short, some just short, the rest not long enough to require a bookmarker. A few can be disturbing, a few can be funny, and a few might prompt a letter, but it doesn't really matter which is read first, you won't have read the likes of them anywhere else. None of the stories were exercises in writing. There's a piece of the author in each one, if only in his imagination and his utter contempt for words written without a part of a soul attached.

About the Author

At 57, including seven self-taught fiction writing years, Lee Horn looks back on his life with only one regret. It should have been more exciting, ala something to write about, instead of concocting plots and themes that some fiction-hero will wallow in. A background in math and sciences (Engineering degrees), a professional history that gets down but not dirty with the men of the sweating arm pits, and finally with little to do but write of those things that could have been.
