About the Book

Burgundy O’Brien had left her family and friends to move to Tampa to start a new life and a new career.  Instead what she found was danger and mystery in the company of the strangest and most captivating man she had ever known.  He called himself Conrad and he was beautiful and desirable beyond all other men and she loved him desperately.  But even though she loved him she knew that he was not like other men.  Like other men would wear a cloak Conrad wore an aura of power that terrified her even while it fascinated her.  And he could do things that she couldn’t even begin to understand.

She couldn’t imagine that there was anyone else like him in all the world but she was wrong.  There were more like him and they had power that numbed her mind and froze her soul and when she learned that these others wanted her dead she knew her only hope lay with Conrad.  But could even Conrad save her?  She didn’t even know if she could trust him.  She didn’t even know who he was!  But she was about to learn and that journey would take her from the very dawn of time to Paradise and to the gates of Hell itself.

About the Author

Born and raised in the rolling hills of south-west Ohio he learned to respect and love nature at an early age through long walks in the fields and woods near his home. Forests, mountains, the sea and the sky and especially the stars captivated him and drew him to books where he could learn more about them and when he discovered science fiction and fantasy stories from the likes of Tolkien, Robert Heinlien, Piers Anthony and Marion Zimmer Bradley he was hooked. Living on the gulf coast of Florida now he spends his spare time writing stories of drama and high adventure mingled with a bit of romance and sprinkled with just a dash of humor. He loves movies and music with a special fondness for jazz and classical music from the romantic period and often incorporates some of these elements in his stories. Star-Crossed Knights is his first medieval romance and was inspired by his favorite actress. Can we talk about movie rights here?
