An ATF undercover agent infiltrates a New York mob to find the reason for purchasing explosives from a small explosives manufacturer in Savannah, Georgia. The CIA oversees the plant and it´s production of explosives for it´s own use. A destructive blast at the lab destroys the records, and apparently kills the scientist. Did the scientist´s wife kill her husband for insurance money? She had filed for divorce. The owner is suspected of siphoning off materials and selling them to anyone for a profit. Terrorists slip into the country in order to buy explosives and destroy buildings in Washington. The trail of one sale was traced to the old communist party. Were the buyers successful? About the Author

James C. Anstine Born in 1923 in Bellefonte, Pa.. Enlisted in the army early in 1942. Separated from service in 1946. Most assignments as officer came from 42nd Battalion Intelligence Officer. Searched for Martin Bormann in Alps. Commanded prison compound in Salzburg, where Nazis were screened for Nuremburg trials. Attended University of Georgia and George Washington U. Action and adventure novels are my forte'. My wife presented me with a son and two daughters. They are beautiful children and they presented us with four grandchildren. Pat Andres Born in New Jersey, lived in Memphis and Massachusettes before moving to Savannah. She has traveled extensively. She graduated from college at age 40 and began career in social services. She has published poetry, prose, and a children's book. The proceeds from the childrens book to animal welfare. Currently writes articles for local publication. Pat did the color writing for The Astra Affair.
