About the Book

Two collegiate friends embark on a series of road adventures seeking meaning to life and their place in it. Along the way the pair meet an outrageous collection of characters who provide both answers, and new questions, for their introspective quest. If On the Road was rewritten by the literary duo of Flann O´Brien and John Kennedy Toole, you might have something approaching the riotous zaniness this introduction to the Zoom Generation presents. A simultaneous exploration of the breadth and depth of life, Yuma Zoom promises to be read and reread by fiction lovers for generations to come.

About the Author

Dr. Jamie Pasley holds a Ph.D. in Political Science, with a specialization in International Relations. He was born and raised in Little Rock, Arkansas, and undertook his collegiate and postgraduate schooling in locales ranging from the melodic hills of central Texas, to the marble confines of Washington D.C., to the muggy bayous of southern Louisiana. He has published several scholarly articles in his field and was awarded a 2000-2001 Fulbright fellowship for research in Canada. Despite his academic training in the social sciences, the author is an avid reader of literary fiction and has written numerous short stories and poems. This is his first novel.
