About the Book
The Book Mountain Meditations, is a spiritual journal of a through hike on the Appalachian Trail. It is the spiritual record of a walk from Georgia to Maine, in the spring and summer of 1987. The manuscript began as a hiking journal. The first step in the publication process was the removal of most hiking references, and the movement toward a more spiritual record of the walk.
The book evolved into a directed spiritual “retreat” with the addition of a spiritual reflection and response for each one of the meditations.
Rev. Patrick is available to help serve as a spiritual director, for those who would like to use Mountain Meditations as their teacher. Please contact him, and he will arrange for direction.
