About the Book

Three Securities and Exchange Commission attorneys investigating a case in a remote area of South America, along with a court reporter, are involved in a plane crash.  Bart Fusco, Regional Director of the SEC, takes over the case. It soon becomes apparent that someone on the inside of the SEC is responsible for not only setting up the fraudulent company being investigated, but also for the plane crash.  Bart's fiancee, Claire, unintentionally clues Bart in as to who might have set up the bogus South American company and Bart asks for assistance from a favorite attorney on his staff also working on the file, who, along with his court reporter girlfriend, promptly follows up on Claire's tip.
