About the Book

Eighteen year old Clay Fargo returns home after a two year absence to find his home in flames and his entire family brutally murdered. Including his fiancĂ©. Clay vows on his sweetheart’s grave that he will avenge these deaths and will chase down the band of villains who have destroyed his world. He must become a man, must learn to administer a huge ranch near the big Horn mountains, and must somehow create his own brand of justice.

Clay’s colorful quest for revenge involves many interesting personalities besides the cast of talking animals: “Bear,” an ex-fighter and mountain man extraordinaire, trains Clay in the arts of self defence, self-independence and endurance. Lobo, a rescued wolf pup, saves Clay’s life on more than one occasion and is amazed to find himself conversing with a human. There is Dan , a red-headed Irishman, who learns bravery at Clay’s side as do two adnormally short yet beautiful Sioux maidens, who join Clay’s journey, providing him at one point with a bathing experience that would have unnerved a weaker spirit.

“The Saga of Clay Fargo” contains humor and high adventure in a fast-paced manner. It is sexual without being obscene, It’s a Western with a difference.
