About the Book

My book is a combination of my first two books. My own heartbreaking feelings of a loved one destroying our relationship. It shows the deep love I had for this person in the seven years we were together. The hurt in my soul as I watched his life being destroyed by drinking. And finally deep agonizing pain because I can't help or stop all the destruction. I want people to know it's okay to talk or write about whatever seems to be a pause in their lives. Everyone has been there in one point of time or another. But yet life goes on.

About the Author

My name is Melanie Ridner. Born in Dayton, Ohio in 1957 where I grew up. I now live in New Miami, Ohio. My life has been fulfilling, but yet hard. I have accomplished so much in my lifetime, but yet writing is my life line in this ever changing world.
