Poetry: The True Expressions

About the Book

My poetry book contains different subjects.  There is nature, friends, accidents and violence, enjoyments, emotions, and death.  A lot of the poems are based on factual events.  Some examples of these are storms, weather occurrences, and school events.  Other poems are based on non - factual events.  This would be things that were made up based on my imagination.  A big part of the book is dedications to my friends who have touched my life.  This would be to teachers, boyfriend, ex-boyfriends, family, and friends.

About the Author

I was born on July 30, 1980. My dad and Grandmother raised my brother and I. I first started writing poetry when I was in ninth grade. I took a poetry class in school. My teacher, Miss Shields was a great teacher and I have her to thank for where I am now. I still live at home with my brother, my dad, and my two cats.
