About the Book

Scattershot Haze is poet Ralph Haselmann Jr.´s second book of poetry, and in it he explores America in all its terrible beauty, the violent wasteland it has become and the hope and dreams that still linger in the heart of many a poet and dreamer. Here Ralph pays hommage to the Beat Generation poets, hippies and musicians of the 1950´s and 1960´s he has long admired, and tempers it with social and political awareness and a healthy dose of humour. This collection also includes seven humorous Beat inspired short stories Ralph wrote in his manic state one month! About the Author

Ralph Haselmann Jr. was born on October 4 1965 and lives in the lush rolling hills of Hunterdon County, New Jersey. He published a poetry magazine called Lucid Moon from 1997 to 2000 and won Cedar Hill Review's Editor of The Year Award and was named hardest working editor in the small press. He has had 300 poems published in over 50 magazines and has had 14 broadsides published.
