About the Book
Eve´s story, set to writing in the last millennium before the Christian Era, is re examined in the context of XXth century archaeology which recovered and deciphered the sacred art, poems and stories that preceded it - in Sumer, Akkad, Babylonia, and Assyria. We then trace the influence of the story as it is woven into the lives of Western women, through religion and politics, to end with the re-affirmation and revolutionary creativity of present day women.
