The Asexuals starts off with a bone-scarring jolt and leads the reader on a soul-searching vision of sex, death, Hades and Nirvana.

Jimmy Raid, undercover private eye for the Jimi Miami Secret Detective Agency, is hired by the alluring Sheriff of Bates County, Sandy Rivet, to track down a serial killer who is stoking up beautiful babes with coke and then gutting them, leaving their carcasses along the picturesque roadside like so many pieces of garbage.

The mystery starts off in the small resort town of Tennten, New York, and then careens its way through the Finger Lakes like fireworks and stock cars.  Penetrating everyday America and prying into the depraved evil of the rich, Jimmy and Sandy hammer their way out of hell on earth and into Paradise.

This nightmare Finger Lakes fairy tale romance is more than just sex and violence.  The Asexuals is a ripping fantasy that transcends the reality of human experience, conjures up a delightfully decadent daydream and gives birth to truly original creatures.  Just as unstoppable as the forces of nature that created the Finger Lakes region, this roller coaster read never lets up until the stunning finale.

J. F. ARMSTRONG has written novels, articles, short stories and a play. SUB$ECT is the riveting follow-up to The Asexuals. He has also taught and tutored writing, computers, accounting and math at an upstate New York college for fifteen years and now resides in the Finger Lakes.
