About the Book
This is the high school handbook. Not the one they give to you in homeroom at the beginning of the year, but a book about how to survive. High School isn't easy and fitting in can be tough, following the lessons learned in the book will lead to success. Yea, there’s a storyline about Ben, but the point to learn how to deal with everything, not to read, because reading isn't any fun. Ben keeps having his world destroyed, but he can't stop and feel sorry for himself, he has to get up and try again. He knows all the stuff that he needs to, he’s just learning how to harness and apply it all. It’s Growing Up once you’ve grown up, but he still has fun. It gives a view into his life from June through Sept, from Junior to Senior. Most kids deal with the same stuff but this more of the unspoken rules and things you just have to pick up as you go along. Now it’s time for them to be written down and taught to kids, to make high school a little easier.
