About the Book

This volume contains a multichapter novella and a number of shorter stories, all exploring the theme of “what is in a mind?”  Some stories are rough, some are polished, and some are fantastic to the point of dream-wraith quality.  Some took years to write; others a few minutes.  Some were researched diligently whereas others were dashed off without the slightest concern for veracity or thoroughness.  The main question asked within this book is, “What thoughts rise unbidden from the mind of me?”  Some stories are the result of dreams during sleep; others waking dreams.  Yet others are flights of fancy, frothy and light, without substance except such as their own words may sustain.  At the intersection of memory, dreams, fantasy, thought, emotion, intuition, and cognizance, at this confluence of intellect and passion, there have I been painted with the brush of past experience.  Bad puns, bad jokes, and all words to tell the tales have come forth from the mind of me.

About the Author

Lorenzo Jones was born little more than midway into the previous century. He has traveled throughout the USA and in several foreign countries. He holds several university degrees and communicates in five languages. He lives on a small island in the southern USA.
