About the Book

Los Angeles emergency room physician, Dr. Heather O´Shaughnessy has a secret she has kept from the world...for nearly four centuries. Not only is she a highly respected physician, she is also an ancient Celtic Medicine Woman...and vampire. After being brought across in 1624, she was given her first kill, her infant son. In the midst of draining the child, Heather´s husband walked in, seeing her with the child´s lifeless body, ran his walking staff through her. Instead of being sent to hell to pay for her sins, she was cursed and sent back to earth. There was one catch to her curse; she was to spend eternity healing humans.

About the Author

Kindred Spirits-Tortured Souls is my first novel. What started out as a short story on a friend’s web site continued to grow thanks to the many readers who offered very positive feedback. Trained right out of high school as a cardiac technician, I have spent the last 15 years working in the medical field. My passion for writing started at a very young age, but it is only recently that I have decided to turn my passion into my career. I reside in Northern California, where I am currently hard at work on the follow up to Kindred Spirits-Tortured Souls.
