About the Book

Run Lee Run, tells the story of a black man´s struggles in the South, and his hard times, coping by hook or by crook with brutality. His mind constantly on the horns of a dilemma, he tries to deal with conflict after conflict, with all hope...that grasping the nettle with resolution, he might manage to stay out of harms way and suffer no evil results. The hard-boiled cynical characters he occasionally runs into and brutal settings keeps his heart of stone, cloven foot in a war-like stance against the status quo. It´s a miracle the madness did not have him tipping back shots and going ballistic. Dry nursing his wounds and cognizant of his living in an evil day, the man in him, found comfort in the arms of romance.

About the Author

_____________Clifford O. Roberts was born in Florida and grew up in New York. Formerly a Newsday Manager, he later became a Real Estate Investor and Home Improvement Specialist. He spent two years serving in the Army along with two white friends out of Texas. He later did a tour of duty in Europe where he acquired a sense of awareness that helped to inspire the writing of Run Lee Run. Currently, the author is hard at work writing the sequel Run Lee Run 2: The Early Bird Gets The Worm, which will come out soon.
