About the Book
Karen Kellock was born on March l9, l949. She received a B.A. in art, a B.A. and M.A. in political Science from San Diego State; and a M.A. and Ph.D. in Psychology at the University of California, Irvine in l976. She then did postdoctoral work at the UCI College of Medicine, under NIAAA and NIMH grants until l979. She taught systems theory and abnormal psychology at Long Beach and San Diego State Universities. Her doctoral thesis was on the Wife of the Alcoholic Syndrome, later entitled The Contagion of Madness about which she gave workshops at UC campuses. In l985 she left civilization to live in the desert wilderness while she completed Champion Guides, a book and website for all geniuses struggling to overcome the obstructions to success in their field..
