About the Book

Jacob Andrews, a struggling writer, heads north to visit some friends in Chicago for a long-awaited vacation.  The book begins with Jacob packing for his trip.  He soon finds out that this vacation turns into a nightmare.  

Hollows Grove, the first stop along the way, finds himself tangled in the middle of an evil presence involving a beautiful woman by the name of Kayla.  She´s a Paranormal Investigator and was sent to Hollows Grove to do further research on a supernatural phenomenon at a deserted mansion.  The two hit if off right from the start. . .sharing many details about one another.  The romantic encounter between Jacob and Kayla doesn’t last long.  After they arrive at the mansion, the immortal being awakens and lets its presence known.  

With the disappearance of Kayla, Jacob struggles through countless adversities, as he tries to find her. . .and a way out of the mansion.  Throughout the night, Jacob experiences things that have him questioning his faith in God, while fighting like hell to survive.  But in the end, well. . .you will just have to read it to find that out.

About the Author

Scott A. Wade grew up in the little town of Hamilton, Illinois. He served six years in the United States Air Force, and is presently working full-time for Headquarters Illinois National Guard. He received his B.A. in Communications at Western Illinois University, where he was very active with two major student organizations, Student Tenant Union and Student Government Association.
