About the Author

Dan M. Appel is a novelist and public speaker currently living in Martinez, California. A contrarian, his writing challenges the conventional thinking of our culture on a number of important current issues. “It seems to me,” he says, “that one of our greatest needs is for thinkers. Most people today are reflectors of other people’s thoughts and attitudes. Rather than thinking about the issues, we mindlessly accept what the media and others tell us to believe rather than finding out the truth for ourselves.
