About the Book
There is consequential movement in the scholarly literature toward nothing less than a
revolution in science. Many leading researchers have recognized that new approaches to quantum physics and consciousness provide a basis for understanding parapsychology. This book provides a thorough exploration of this profound paradigm shift in modern science.
BOOK REVIEW
BookNews, Inc.Since Newton first described his fundamental principles of physics, some kind of mechanization has been implied in the laws of physics. It is this mechanization that is being scrutinized by work at the forefront of quantum physics and brain science. There is now research, coming from several disciplines, that collectively forms a new holonomic paradigm in science. At the heart of this is an old idea regarding nonlocal hidden variables in quantum theory and new work on quantum coherence within living organisms. The latter provides a basis for integrating consciousness into physics, which is the basis of the book. Some researchers have also put forward the idea that new approaches to quantum physics and consciousness can provide the basis for understanding parapsychology. In this book data from several disciplines are brought together to describe this new view of science.
