About the Book

“A solitary seagull sat atop the weathered signpost above the churning sea.

It had watched, head cocked, beady eyes blinking, as the squawking human thing flopped over the cliff and plunged headlong to the rocks below.

The sign read:

DANGER.

DO NOT GO BEYOND THIS POINT.”

Anneka loved her counseling job in the local high school and her cozy house in Spirit Cove.  She was intrigued with the legends of ghosts said to wander the cove and the cliffs at ocean’s edge.

But then the rains came and with them the murders.

Weaving real and surreal, this regional mystery explodes with psychopathic madness during the worst storm ever to hit the little fishing village of New Albion.

About the Author

The author lives on the Oregon coast with her husband, Robert, two dogs and a cat, in an area very like the village in her story. She is currently at work on the sequel to Foul Weather. And sometimes when she writes, if it is that stormy time of year, the wind rattles the windows and fog creeps cold and silent down from the cape. Then, from the corner of her eye, she catches a glimpse of someone standing in the ancient woods, ready to be included in the next scene.
