About the Author

This is David Hayes. He is 350 pounds of creative energy… chickenfried and funneled through a talent filter. Chicago's premier Comic Fatass appears in some of the most demanding roles ever, and some that aren’t so demanding at all. Born Nigel and Arthur Spunk in the Detroit suburb of Garden City, Hayes and his Siamese twin (now appearing as the infamous noise-performer and smut author Hayden Davis) rose to prominence as a boy in the travelling side-show circuit. Hayden left the business after the twin's horrific separation surgery while Hayes carried on the newly found family tradition of physical exploitation. Blessed with a latch-hook type of back hair from the age of nine, he rose through the competitive ranks of the Physical Deformity Crowd with lightning speed. He soon began to headline major metropolitan cities like Hoboken, NJ; Brighton, MI and Evanston, IL. Hayes realized that the side-show offered less and less as his talent grew. He decided to pursue a career of writing and acting. After years of performing in back-alley, rat infested storefront Chicago theaters in shows like sCarrie! The Musical, Joan Crawford Goes to Hell, and 'Gator Bait, Hayes moved into the realm of back alley, rat infested Chicago film production. He was discovered by fellow actor Rob Gorden on the set of Danny's Story, a no-holds-barred look at alcoholism and what finding God can do for you when your in prison and somebody takes a fancy to your fanny, and was promptly fired and sold to the highest bidder… and a meteoric rise to international superstardom. Various publications have lauded the compliments of Persia on David Hayes, but he has weathered it all with good taste and verve. New City Magazine has called Mr. Hayes a, "Fat slob…" while the Chicago Tribune recognizes his, "in depth talent." Theatrechicago.com believes David to be, "the master of the… schtick-fest." The Chicago Reader simply sums it up with one word; and that word is "Chubby." As always… Don’t Believe Everything That You Read.
