About the Book

NOTE: This book has a parental advisory. Most of the poems are suitable for children but I would advise against them reading the last chapter. This book is a collection of poetry (and a few short stories) written over the past 16 years. They are compiled in chronological order from sixteen years ago to today.

About the Author

Kathleen-Marie has been writing poetry for sixteen years. It was 1986 when her first documented poem, Mom, was written at age seven. Kathy grew in Berkeley, California and moved to Watsonville, CA in 1995 where she resides to this date. Haunting Journey is a trek through the author's mind. To read this book from cover to cover would be to hold the hand of a child and walk through their fears and joys alike. This journey ends with a 23-year-old package handler for Federal Express Ground and senior at California State University of Monterey Bay. Kathy is a person for whom beauty is found within endearing terms and genuine compassion for others. With a maternal and childlike soul in one, this author's journey should prove to be an interesting one.
