About the Author
Jamayca Neal discovered the beauty in words at age seven. It was after looking under the bed at her grandmother's worn down shoes, that she wrote her very first poem. Born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Ms. Neal expressed her creativity through art and writing. She won several awards in High School for art and was an A student in English. As one gave way to the other, Ms. Neal began to realize that her writing, particularly her poetry was more than a hobby. Not produced like water on tap, her poetry was inspired. She knew she was blessed with a gift. Ms. Neal continues to use that gift. She is currently working on her first novel.
