About the Book
Jackson lives at home with his mother, Wendy, and his older brother, Roman. He goes to school and remains unnoticed to the rest of the class. He acts as make believe characters in public places. Jackson craves the recognition of his own identity. He sputters trivial words onto paper nearly every night. He bathes constantly. As days go by he begins to contemplate his own reality. His brother’s failed suicide attempt gives rise to questions about existence and death and God. Jackson’s mother tries her best to hold everything together. She tests people for VD and drives a taxi cab at night for extra cash. She needs people that truly need her. Roman needs people to be honest. Jackson needs only himself and an audience to play for.
