This showcase of talent is presented by Monica F. Brown, professionally known as Queen of Spades, who is the site owner of International House of Poets and frequent many other poetry sites, included those that are mentioned. About the Author

Monica F. Brown, professionally known as Queen of Spades, has been writing since the age of eleven. Since acquiring ownership of The International House of Poets website in May 2003, Queen of Spades has always strived to put literary and spoken art on a larger scale. The end result is Soulful Branches, a collection of over thirty talented artists who have dared to entrust her with their passions. Currently, she is finishing up two projects: Truths: From a Spaded Perspective and Private Pain, which will be published in the near future.
