About the Book

A story about a young boy coping with his youth. Only three feet tall and ten years old, little David finds it difficult to compete with the other older boys. David feels insecure about his height and finds himself working hard at everything to fit in. It is when David has to leave home after a terrible storm and losing his parents that he wanders unto new land, new people, and new sights. After battling a huge whale who wanted to eat him for supper, David meets a wise old man named God-Hi, who turns out to be his guardian angel. He gives David a book bag filled with magic powers to help him on his adventure. Inside David finds his inner strength, power, and courage to continue his journey. David’s mission is to help other children like him deal with growing pains. Little David and the Magic Book Bag, a must read, filled with adventure and excitement for children of all ages!

Sonya McNeal, an inspirational writer, hopeful Romantic, who lives for love and love living. I’m a Dreamer, like Daniel 10:9; I envision great things and see them into reality. Little David and the Magic Book bag is just one of my many projects a waiting to touch children all over the world. I’m the last of the Cinderella’s in the world, believing that one can live happily ever after and in this lifetime. I’m the sixteenth child of a total of seventeen children of a woman who had many more in her shoe… always working… always something to do. I’m a resident of Atlanta, GA, currently works as a caregiver to the elderly population waiting for my true prince to arrive and take notice for I’m as 1st Peter 2:9, the chosen one and to the right man I will be as Proverbs 31:10-31, a good wife.
