About the Book

MARCUS ABIGAIL was the son of an abusive father and an indifferent mother. GLEN WATSON was his life-long best friend. ADAM PATTON was his employer and benefactor who became the father he always wanted and needed. CARVER PATTON was Adam's son who became a brother to Marcus. About the Author

Mr. Morrone lives in Portland, Oregon. He has had short stories and poetry published but this is his first novel. When he is not writing he is at his easel oil painting. His paintings have been exhibited in several local shows. He has lived in Portland most of his life and considers himself an Oregonian. He is the father of four children. His oldest daughter, Tina Marie Goodnight, lives in St. Helens, Oregon. His youngest son, Russell Scott Morrone, lives in Beaverton, Oregon. His oldest son, Michael Edward Morrone, died in July 2000. His youngest daughter, Karilynn Rene Morrone died at age eleven. Mr. Morrone is currently working on his second novel, a sequel to "Marcus Abigail."
