About the Book

“Poems for Everyday People” is a diverse collection of poetry that deals with everyday life for everyday people. Most of the poems are written for and about African Americans, but with the hope that everybody can relate to them. The poems are written with simplicity and rhythmical verses so that everyone can "get" it. I hope these poems make you smile or laugh, but mainly I hope to make you think, in language you can understand.
