About the Author
James (“Jim,”) Roberts was born and grew up in and around Richmond, Kentucky. Growing up as a child his mother would read and make up stories for him, is two older sisters and two younger brothers, after their chores and homework was done in the evenings. She was the best storyteller and knew how to keep you captivated and wanting more. Mr. Roberts is a carpenter by profession but always wanted to write children’s books so he could give back to children what his mother had given him all those many years before. A strong imagination and the desire to make a difference in some child’s life has now become a reality in the pages of his first children’s book, “Chipper and Friends Big Adventures”.
