About the Book
At the turn of the 16th century, high in the Himalayan Mountains, a young Tibetan woman is given the task of watching over a mystical family heirloom, a responsibility that will precipitate an awesome journey.
Ten years into the 21st century, in a modern Boston, a young American woman stumbles upon an ancient legend, and so begins her own journey.
Each woman’s adventure leads down a spiraling path of discovery at whose center is an enigmatic manuscript called the Khumbu Document. Pursued by those who would use the Document for sinister ends, both Yoshu and Avery cross the globe, gradually uncovering the mystery of the manuscript, and its ultimate purpose.
