About the Book

This novel, like a diamond, has many facets.  It is an ode to enduring love, a mini-treatise on the repurcussions of ingrained racism, how blind assumption can lead to tragedy, about triumph over circumstances and the capability to rise above one's self, about redemption, a revitalization of the human spirit.  It is about the yearning of people to be useful, needed, a vital part of the fabric of life. And it is foremost about the unconscionable treatment of children, this world's most precious asset.  My aim in writing this novel was to prick awareness, for people to give a little thought to what COULD be and, above all, realize that ALL children are to be cherished and protected.

About the Author

The author was born in philadelphia in the year 1931. Received his formal education in Public schools. Spent his childhood in Richard Allen Projects just a few years ahead of Bill Cosby, so Bill should know what 'The Ranch House' was. Served in the army during the Korean 'Police Action', in a clerical position. The derogatory designation was REMF. Currently labors in a neighborhood Community Council involved in enhancing the lives of the inhabitants. This is a first novel spurred by a life long desire and after overcoming a great deal of apprehension. If people derive a modicum of enjoyment from this novel, then it was well worth the effort
