About the Book

This book contains poetry and spoken word that will shock, captivate, and stir up the emotions of its readers. It breaks down thoughts and feelings on love, lust and everyday events that a lot of people deal with. This book can be controversial to some and passionate to others. It is meant to be real and raw. I tried to capture most of the aspects of love and lust. These are topics that people tend to walk around and avoid due to the levels and limits that discussion might take them. That is why I put this book together. I have also included pieces in this book that will inspire and aid in growth by enhancing your awareness of not only love but of life. The title of my book definitely says a lot if you do not talk about what is happening in your head and in your heart; you are not fully accepting yourself and what you are feeling.

Tira aka “Lovelace” mother of three boys and a lover of life and what it offers. I am a true Gemini, woman of many faces. I have been writing poetry and spoken word since I was a child and never dreamed that I would get to this position where I am publishing. I have had to work for everything that I have and what I want I will probably have to work even harder. Nothing in life is free if it doesn’t cost money then it cost time. I consider myself an achiever not because I succeed but because I at least try.
