About the Book

We need God’s wisdom and guidance as well as His strength and power, so we should listen to what He has to say. God is looking for people who will demonstrate the glory of His presence in their lives. The words in the poems that I have written express joy and sorrow, difficulties as well as successes, in accomplishing the things that God has called me to do. We must learn to trust and obey God in every little thing. He will reveal treasures from His Word that are hidden within it. Be willing to listen to Him speak to you within your hearts. Each poem within this book shares a bit of myself traveling along the path through my journey of life. My hope is that you will be ministered to as you walk in places that I have been. May you walk with God and allow Him to walk with you.

I am just a good ole country gal, and Jesus is my Best Pal. The city is not for me. Give me country roads and great oak trees. Down home in the fields is where I'd rather be. Strolling through paths that surround me with ease and enjoying God’s beauty. Where eagles soar in the air, not a worry nor a care. Just a good ole country gal, where Jesus is my Best Pal.
