About the Author
Author’s Cover Bio (Back cover of book) Jerry Gordinier is a retired high school principal who wrote his first poem in the fifth grade. He began to seriously write children’s stories and poems after suffering a severe head injury from a fall from a ladder while getting the family’s holiday decorations down from the attic. His imaginative stories and poems have great appeal to children and parents. Jerry’s sense of humor and expressive stories capture the exuberance that is experienced only through the eyes of a child.
