About the Book
The Grand Teton: One of the premier technical climbs in North America. At 13,777’ not the highest climb, but perhaps the climb with the most outstanding verticality and exposure.
In 2001 the Gober-Keller family attempted to realize the dream of standing on the summit of the Grand Teton, naively unaware of the effort required for amateurs living at sea level in Annapolis, MD to scale such a mountain in the brief span of a one week vacation. After four years of trying they understood much more about themselves and what it takes to achieve life’s summits, and the wisdom of pursuing life’s impossible goals.
Penned by Michael W. Keller, but experienced by Joanne Gober, Joseph Gober-Keller, and Nicholas Gober-Keller. Quitting is simply not an option.
