About the Author

Captain Matt Baryshyan has been fishing offshore since 1976. His offshore adventures have taken him from Wedgeport Nova Scotia to Costa Rica but when it comes to the big in big game fishing nothing beats the rich canyon waters off the East coast where Captain Matt and the crew of the Amanda Lee can be found going to and from the grounds. Captain Matt is a frequent contributor to the Big Game Fishing Journal and is a member of the New England Fishery Management Council Advisory Board.
