About the Book

This book is dedicated first of all to God, my Father through His Son Jesus, the Risen Christ for inspiring me and gifting me with the talent of writing poetry. I also dedicate this book to my mother who is a positive and strong influence in our lives and in the lives of others God had allowed her to touch; and to my family. This book signifies the events of love, those who were lost during the war and the struggles of relationships whether it is during a marriage or a close relationship with someone special. My goal is to reach out and inspire others to have faith and not give up on love and God will send someone who will love unconditionally, faithfully and truthfully. The words expressed in this book are my true feelings and experiences. I pray everyone reading this book will enjoy and learn how to express their feelings and know they are not the only ones who have experienced the positive and negative effects of being in love.

About the Author

Sandra Sidney was born in the Mississippi Delta. Her mother was a schoolteacher and social worker, her father was a preacher and veteran of World War II; and she is the eldest of nine children. Her struggles, hardships and experiences lead her to writing at an early age. Her belief and faith in God gave her the courage to write this book and share with others the gift of poetry that God has given her. She currently works as an independent contractor nurse in home health and in the state's correctional system. She has achieved her goal of starting a school that trains students in back office procedures teaching them to become independent and self-sufficient citizens in their communities. She has two children, a daughter-in-law and four beautiful grandchildren.
